Architectural washed floors

Architectural washed floors are aesthetically pleasing concrete floors that combine functionality and quality.

Architectural flooring has the characteristic of being made of a concrete composed of selected aggregate featuring particular colours and a suitable grain size curve. It is roughly smoothed by hand, after which a deactivator is applied to the surface.

This product serves to retard the setting and hardening process of the flooring surface layer, so that it can be washed with a high-pressure cleaner after a few hours.

Once the grout layer has been removed, the layer of chosen aggregate will remain visible on the surface.
Architectural washed floors can be laid both indoors and outdoors. In fact, there are various types with different characteristics that are best suited to enhance different kinds of location.
