Industrial floors

Industrial floors are characterised by several components that make them a durable, versatile solution suitable for a range of industrial applications, such as:

  • Logistics
  • Mass retail
  • Chemicals
  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Food
  • Manufacturing
  • Mechanical engineering

The base of an industrial floor consists of ballast or slab on which reinforcement consisting mainly of electrowelded wire mesh and/or fibre-reinforced concrete is laid.

Then the flooring is poured with a thickness and concrete mix suited to the structural characteristics of the area, which may be subjected to loads, traffic and/or weathering.

Subsequently, the surface is cut to create the contraction joints, and armoured with a layer known as the “wear layer”, formed by sprinkling cement-quartz powder.

Elle&P lays industrial floors for interior and exterior areas with guaranteed reliability and durability. A technological Laser Screed vibro-compactor can also be used.

With employees that have decades of experience, the company has successfully installed numerous industrial floors throughout Italy, particularly in the north.
